Genetic Family history of allergies Associated allergic conditions such as asthma or eczema (atopic triad) Allergic conjunctivitis Birth during the pollen season Firstborn child Early use of antibiotics, formula, or solids Exposure to indoor allergens including maternal smoking in the first year of life
