Urticaria

Urticaria are a form of transient, raised solid lesion (a wheal).
They are erythematous, circumscibed (varying shapes), with central pallor, and are extremely itchy (pruritic).
Mast cells (and to a lesser extent basophils) release histamine and vasodilators to cause the erythematous skin manifestion.
