- Glycine Cleavage Enzyme deficiency results in failure of glycine breakdown with toxic accumulation of glycine, which leads to brain and spinal cord pathology.
Clinical
- Onset: Birth
- Presentation: Lethargy, Poor Feeding, Hypotonia, Abnormal Jerking
- Neurological manifestations: Cognitive Delay, Seizures
