Characteristic Findings
- Erythema, Edema, Warmth.
Additional Common Findings
- Hemorrhagic lesions (petechiae), blistering, & systemic symptoms of fever and other constitutional symptoms (malaise, etc...).
Red Flag Features
- Sepsis (septic shock)
- Rapid progression
- Pain out of proportion to physical exam features
