MRI DWI axial sequence at the level of the basal ganglia shows restricted diffusion (c/w infarct) in the posterior limb of the internal capsule on the right side. Abnormality highlighted.
Internal Capsule Stroke - Posterior Limb
The patient presented with sudden onset of left face, arm, and leg weakness that was severe in nature and persistent. No associated sensory symptoms. No associated right side of body symptoms.
